The hollow through the mountain Torghatten

You have now reached the tunnel through the mountain from east towards west. This is shown in the first photo. The height of the tunnel is 41 m, the width is 18 m and the length is 166 m. The photo above shows a close-up photo of the northern wall, inside the tunnel, with a smoothed fissure (see arrow).

1) Would you characterize the shape of the opening of the tunnel as rounded or rectangular seen from the outside?

2) Do you see any connection between the structures of the rocks, the stones on the ground, and the shape of the opening?

3) How do you think the tunnel was formed?
